Yim's Market

Message: I've used this market off and on for twenty years and I've love every product I bought. The bulogi (idk if I spelled that correctly) is out of this world. They even carry the products to make your own homemade style. The fruit is always sweet and fresh. I can't say the same for the big stores in my neighborhood. They also carry some great instant coffee and asome teas that can't be purchased any where else in town. Please keep up the good work.

Message: There are many products to choose from. It's a pity that the kimchi of this shop just before was very delicious because the store made a new one. It's now being imported due to a problem. but not the same as before.

Message: It’s not Ranch 99, but there is a good selection of Asian food products. Happy to see they are expanding the store.

Message: They are remodeling a small area in the back to expand I am assuming which is a good thing. The store has a lot of stuff but some common items are not carried by Yim's. The veges were not super fresh but it's Reno for Asian veges, can't expect much. Price was reasonable. Very tight so dont bother if you have to drive a mobility scooter. UPDATE 12. 4. 22.. THANK YOU owner for the response. I will definitely call ahead and request and I can't wait for the remodel to be complete.

Message: Best store in Reno/sparks for any Asian food needs. They make the best kimchi, fresh Korean sushi, seaweed salad, papaya salad, octopus salad and so so much more. They also have super friendly staff. The girls in there are always. really helpful and I asked someone to help me find 3 products because I just didn’t know where to look for them and they were just super kind and helpful and didn’t make me feel bad like some other stores or places do.. I always get my sushi grade tuna here and it’s undoubtedly the highlight of whenever I make sushi for my family. ❤️.

Message: This is the best market for Korean products in Reno/Sparks. I found that most other markets carry other asian products but this one is mainly Korean imports which was what I was looking for. Everything is reasonably priced. The staff is very kind and helpful. They also give recommendations on why you can use for the meals you are trying to prepare. They have a fridge full of different banchan which I haven’t really seen in the other Asian markets in town. I would definitely recommend this store.

Message: One of my top go-to markets for hard to find Asian inspired recipe ingredients. With a myriad of domestic and imported products, you are sure to find exactly what you're looking for, and then some. Oh, and the in-house Kimchi: 그것은 물론 맛있습니다.
