Message: OPEN but Closing Soon. Long time family owned restaurant, deli, and market closing as soon as the property is sold. This is great news for the owner but sad news for its patrons. Staff has always been friendly and the food scrumptious. My children and I have many fond memories of their deli with noses scrunched up to the glass delighting in all the pastry treats. We oftentimes order multiple of their pretzel bread sandwiches: delicious soft pretzel bread and I will miss their schnitzel the most. Made to order to be taken home and cooked. Check out this place before it’s gone forever.

Message: Have not eaten at the restaurant but have heard many positive things from friends and family. Have been a regular at the grocery/bakery portion of the place though for a few years. Nice selection of German products. My mom was born and raised in Germany and this is her go to for a lot of her food nostalgia. Prices are a bit high but it’s to be expected given the products are specialty brought in. The pastries and breads from the bakery are fantastic and alone worth visiting the place. The main reason for the minus star is the employees aren’t always great. It’s very hit or miss when you go in. I’ve had experiences on both ends.

Message: The jägerschnitzel was delicious, and so was the eclair I had for dessert. The live music had people up on the dance floor. They were able to accommodate our group of fourteen. Friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff. Can't wait to try their breakfast and sample the rest of their bakery when the pastry chefs are back.

Message: I love going here! My family and I are German and lived in Germany, this is great German food! The atmosphere is also great. The price is decent, but the restaurant is so worth very penny. Plus, I don't know of any places with good German beer, and can serve it in litres! Please check it out!

Message: Whenever my family and I come here we are always reasonably happy. However, I swear the servers are always slammed because they are understaffed. I do think the place is a bit odd with the bar in back, central dance floor, group seating and the store. I've had better, but I'll never avoid the place. Just be prepared to exercise some patience.
